Hi,
I will stay in a week at Melia Goriones with my wife and wonder if it would be possible to hike nude for some kilometers on the beach south of the hostel;
is it also possible to run nude on morning or early evening ?
is it a best time with least wind ? best spots ?
thks
South of Gorriones there's many kms of empty beach, with lots of naturists. All you need is decent weather!
Nude running? Hmmm...interesting
It depends on the distance, sometimes the high tide blocks your path and you really have to hike the hills to get past.
Nude running? You need to do a health and safety risk assessment first. The size of Sue's boobs rules her out of any more than a brisk walk naked. I hospitalised 3 people with my jewellery time I went jogging nude

Seriously, take care along there. Years ago I went for a morning walk South of the Goriones, tide way out & the whole beach to myself. Walking along the waterline I noticed that I was starting to sink into the sand. Looking behind me, all my footprints had vanished :o Queue a quick retreat to solid ground.
It can be very remote around there off peak season & you could be on your Jack for quite some time should you have an accident.
As for nude waking or running, you can head south as far as you like. You will run out of steam before you run out of beach
Good advice - beware of quicksand, especially on an ebbing tide. It is usually either water draining from higher up the beach or from a stream coming off the land behind which causes this and it can happen anywhere.
The way sand shifts with weather and tides means that quicksand patches can appear disappear and move all the time.
Usually quicksand danger areas are signposted by the authorthies. I've never seen any in Sotavento zone.
