Does anyone know what condition the road from Morro Jable to Cofete is like,
I have read on the Forum that a 4x4 is needed, others say they just used
an ordinary hired car.
Hire car insurance won't cover you for off road driving.

As the captain points out, you are uninsured, however I would say that the greatest risk on this track is other drivers ( Also in uninsured hire cars ) The track is reasonably smooth apart from the last stretch between the bar & the beach car park by the grave yard. The track is very twisty with blind corners, & big drops over one side.
Can't say that I would like to meet that Mercedes bus coming the other way
Or like us have it thundering up behind you, trying to pass!
