Did anyone watch the race yesterday? Gruelling course of 150km, over one or days. We saw the first finishers at Morro.

I like it today where the amateurs have a go at the second half of the course from Antigua to Morro. Over 2000 riders this year - great logistic and organisation from the Spanish Army and Fuerteventura Emergency Corp. not bad for a third world country!

A lot of the amateur riders stayed overnight in Caleta.

I think someone said the official overnight was at an army camp, with 3 meals and accom for 5 euros!
Well organised event - you should have seen all the bikes lining up for the 6.30 ferry!

Good video. Shows how tough it was. That guy finished day 2 in 5hr21mins. The winner did the whole course in less time and in ONE DAY! Wow, no wonder they looked like a coalminers, covered in dust.
