The excellent Womad festival is returning to Fuerte 7/8/9th Nov 14 ,we are over on the 8th will keep an eye open to see if they do day tickets but its usually just for the 3 days

I hope they have a proper ROCK BAND on, and not just the usual African Bongos & stuff.
It should be an excellent weekend, and put Gran Tarajal in the spotlight.
Ah, that might explain the coverage I watched on TV Canaria when I was over at that time last year. My Spanish is nowhere near good enough to work out what was going on, but it looked like a great event.
