Hello.
This is our first trip to fuerteventura and we are going to club jandia princess hotel. Has anyone got any advice or knowledge of this place. We are a youngish couple (35 and 33) who haven't been here before.....any advice welcome. Thanks

Your wife wont be the only attractive lady on the beach but as you are a couple what does it matter. If you want attention its easy to find in the dunes, so stay away from them if you don't....... :)

Naturists tend to respect other's personal space. Unless you hang around the swinger's hotel along the coast, you should be fine

Hi Helen and James, if you read my previous post we are going to stay on the island next year for our anniversary and was hoping to try out naturism for the first time. My wife is slightly nervous about this so has changed her mind regarding the hotel several times. After reading all the infrmation on the forum she had now finally decided on Jandia Princess. Although she says she will not use the naturist pool she will go naked on the beach if we can find somewhere not too busy. Going to book the hotel this weekend before she changes her mind again. Please make sure you report back after you have been, would love to know what to expect. When do you go?

Hi Helen and James. We haven't stayed at the Jandia Princess, but we have been to the Fuerteventura Princess next door several times now, and would consider the beaches around there to be ideal for first time naturism. If you turn left/north in front of the hotels, past the Hobiecat centre and bar, you will find a recessed group of sunbeds which are used mostly by naturists. They are well back from the water's edge and a bit more private. If you need even more privacy go a bit further north, round the headland, and you will find lots of stone "bunkers" where you can sunbathe naked and out of sight. Slightly further north again in the direction of Mal Nombre and the beach is almost deserted. I'm sure you will find a spot at one of these locations where you will both feel comfortable.
As Magoo has said, naturists tend to respect each other's space, and we have never been bothered or even approached on the beach by anyone we hadn't previously spoken to, say at the hotel. (mind you we are not as young and fit as you two appear to be, haha!)

Only ever tried swinging on Fuerteventura once, got to say I was very disillusioned with the whole shabby experience. We all put our rental car keys into a big jar & took turns in drawing them out.

Maoo - sorry to hear about your experience, landing up with Orlando must have taken the edge off your evening. Although we've never had Mr Bloom at any of our events I would imagine it would depend on what character he was playing!
I really don't know much about the Jandia area of the Island, so I can't comment on anything specific to that hotel etc.
However, as a generalisation, I would assure Helen and James that naturist areas and beaches are by far, the most friendly and easy-going places to be.
If you get fed up with the food at the FP, & fancy a romantic meal for two. Try Marabu in nearby Esquinzo, really nice to eat outside if the weather plays ball. You will need to book & if you haven't sussed it's location out in daylight, get a taxi or you will never find it. We did this years ago when staying at the FP, we walked back along the beach in the moonlight . (Check tide & don't forget gate key)
Don't apologise, i thought it was all very funny. I tried it once but fell off. But we finally did book Jandia Princess today for next June, really excited now.
Hi Helen and James. My girlfriend and I are also in our late 20s and slim etc... We're also at the Jandia Princess late September and are going to try naturism for the first time, so you won't be the only ones. Hope this reassures you and your partner. Have a great time.
