Title: Buying supplies in Caleta
Post by: sal on May 03, 2014, 17:57:28 PM
Does anyone know where we can buy towels and a radio/CD player in Caleta de Fuste?  Also does anybody know if Amazon deliver to the island please?

Thanks in advance!   8)

Not too sure about whether Amazon deliver to Fuerte but I'm sure someone on here will know, however, I don't think anywhere in Caleta will sell towels apart from the cheap Chinese shops but if  you mean beach towels then the souvenir shops all have them hanging up .  Ikea would be a good place to try as you could pop in and order them for delivery.  Alternatively you could try Armas in Puerto and also try Norty Sur Home shop on the retail park.  Lidl sometimes have bedding and towels in too.  You'll deffo get bath towels over there and as for a Radio/cd Electron would be a good place to try (next door to Norty Sur Home shop). There are no doubt other shops in Rosario and I'm sure another forum user will let you know about them.
Hope this helps

I would advise caution with regard to buying anything electrical in Caleta. If you can get to Electron you will find a very wide range and should get fixed up.
Armas also good for towels, bedding etc.

Thank you both for all the info.  Looks like a visit to Puerto is on the cards!

For towels, bedding, linen and all that type of stuff Ell 99 in Puerto del Rosario, its just up from the 3 bums roundabout.

Its a bit like a Primark if yoru from the UK, or a Penny's if your from Ireland.   :)
