Could someone explain what Rest In Peace means. Do some dead people Rest In Stressful situations, anger, war, etc.

Spike, when they pass on, All the Stressful situations, anger, war, etc. leaves their body, and they are at peace at last. A blessing or expression of hope that a deceased person's soul is at peace.

Two more drownings yesterday in the Canaries.  One in Gran Canaria, and a 75 year old German man at Costa Calma, here on Fuerteventura.

It's the same old story. People don't realise that this is the ATLANTIC OCEAN, and the Cabildos don't give a damn about  Foreign Tourists, proven by the fact that they only have life-guards on duty in July and August when the Spanish are on holiday.

I think all these tragedies serve to remind us all just how dangerous and unpredictable the Atlantic is. I am sure we have all put ourselves in similar perilous positions, albeit unintentionally, when on holiday or just relaxing by the beach. Be careful and mindful everyone!
