My wife and I decided it was time to change to a Spanish driving licence, so off we went to Trafico armed with all the papers, flask, sandwiches and books. We got there about 12.30 to find only 5 people waiting. We were advised by a friendly security guard to use desk 2 for English speaking. We were soon at the desk and the gentleman was very helpful and spoke very good English. We filled in the forms and handed over all the relevant paper work. We asked if we needed to take any tests etc. He told us this was not required and also that if we paid him by card, we could pay there and then. This we did..27.40 euros each. The whole process was completed in 20mts. We were advised to return in 28 days. Evidently would have been quicker if we were German. It takes a week for them. DVLC are slow. We returned 28 days later and our papers were there. We filled in a couple more forms, handed over our UK licences and were given temporary cover. We were advised to return in 21 days, which we did and our new licences were in envelopes waiting for us.
Ps we are both pensioners, so we are now ok until we are 75 Great!
