Hi guys just wondering what the job situation is like in Corralejo? Im English and speak German as a second language ,46 years old and dont mind what I do but am customer orientated, also wondering what sort of wage to expect and is it possible to live half a decent life on it?! Thanks, Dave.

If you're very, very lucky you might get a PR job, standing outside a bar/restaurant trying to persuade the punters to come in. No idea about wages, probably just a few euros a night, maybe on a commission basis? The minimum wage here is only around 6€ and that's for legal work (i.e. taxes and social security to come out of it).

There's over 50% unemployment in the 18-25 age group, and not much less for the older groups. So there are an awful lot of others, many of them Spanish speakers, ahead of you in the queue.

Good luck!
