It's the ideal place to discover the way of life of the ancient inhabitants of the island in a building which represents the ancient architecture.
Visitors will receive information on the paleontological wealth of the Island.
There are photographs and models of native habitats, pottery, bone tools and molluscs to help you get an idea of the life of the Mahos.
There are religious idols made of stone and information about Tindaya and its podomorfos (footprints) - a center of the magical-religious world of the ancient majoreros.
Ethnographic (the branch of anthropology that deals with the scientific description of specific human cultures) elements used until a few decades ago by majoreros complete the tour of this beautiful building.

A visit to the Cueva del Llano in Villaverde offers the opportunity to explore the depths of the earth, to know which animals inhabited the island for thousands of years and how this volcanic lava tube was formed.
Take a guided tour of Fuerteventura below the surface.
La Cueva del Llano was formed after the eruption of Montaña Escanfraga over 800,000 years ago. Before delving into the depths of the cave, in the visitor centre, visitors can learn of the Fuerteventura's great geological variety - the oldest island of the Archipelago.
The Maxorata is one of the few places in the world where plutonic rocks can be found on the surface.

This species is one of seven Canary arthropods that are in danger of extinction.

The town of La Atalayita, inhabited since before the European conquest in the fifteenth century, is located in the valley of Pozo Negro beside a small hill called La Atalaya.
The ancient Aboriginal houses area among the 'badlands' formed by the lava eruptions from La Laguna Caldera and Caldera de Liria.
It's surprising to see how its inhabitants managed to adapt to the terrain and develop their habitat.
