we are over in caleta in two weeks and was just wondering how the building work in the harbour area was progressing. :)
There's no work going on. The new apartments have been completed in the Barcelo Plaza. Perhaps they'll start when you're over ;). It's worth going into the Barcelo Beach Resort reception to have a look at the video of the plans that there are for the area.
The new apartments look lovely. The pool area is a bit claustrophobic now because of the new buildings surrounding it. I dont like the new wooden wall near the harbour.
Fifi: In other words, they've screwed it up. If it's not broken, don't fix it.
The pool just looks so closed in now Woe. I think it was much better the way it was.
The pool area is going to change in the next phase of the development. There's going to be a big new pool area on the south side of the Castillo which will go along towards the harbour.
