.... or week ... or month...
I'm sure many of you will know this tip but for those who don't...
Some threads can go on for several pages (as shown below circled in blue) and wading through each can take some time but by clicking the icon (http://www.fuerteventura-forum.com/Themes/default/images/icons/last_post.gif) (circled in red) you will go straight to the very last post of the thread.

You'll need this for jand's post on El Hierro which is 131 pages long. Started october 2011. Maybe we could have a party on the 2nd anniverssary 8) 8)
Unless the thing's blown up by then..
For the party - do you think we could get Magma or the Lava Rock Kids?
Collapse Section Tip:
If you never use or read certain sections you can collapse them to save your finger muscle scrolling.
eg. if you never read the Hotel Reviews section and don't want to see it take up so much space:
Hit the Minus button at the right.
The section will collapse.
To restore it, hit the same button (which will now be a + )
Unless you've disabled cookies, each time you visit the site that section should remain collapsed.

There are times when it would be useful to order the posts alphabetically.
e.g. When looking for a particular restaurant in the Caleta section.
Simply clicking the word 'Subject' in the header will do this.

Enlarging pictures in normal posts works good 8)
Worked a treat for me Admin,many thanks ;D ;D
Shrink the header.
A minor tip.

I just noticed this morning that the 'My Bookmarks' feature wasn't working.
I've sorted it now.
At the bottom of each topic there is a button 'Add Bookmark'. This has nothing to do with your browser adding favourites or in Safari, bookmarking the page.
It's just keeping a link to the topic which you'll find using the 'My Bookmarks' tab at the top of the page.
It's handy if you intend to read or add something to a topic later, by which time the topic may have dropped off page 1.
eg it's useful for me when I want to add something to this thread in a week or so or for the 'Quizzes and Disputes' thread which I post on only occasionally.
Finding all your own posts
Handy when you know you've posted in a topic but can't find it.
Profile / Forum Profile / Profile Info / Show Posts.... / Messages
Finding your most recent posts on a board
....or what the icons on the left mean...
So in the board below, by looking for the icon (http://www.fuerteventura-forum.com/Themes/default/images/topic/my_normal_post.gif) ("Topics you have posted in ") I can see that my most recent post was in the board "Google..."
Edit - The top one might not actually be my most recent post - but you get the idea.
Adding Polls
You can start a new poll from scratch or add a poll to a thread that you started.

The icon on the left shows that this thread has a Poll
