On the Reception Desk in the Barcelo Beach Resort in Caleta de Fuste is a TV with a video/DVD showing what the harbour area will look like after the forthcoming redevelopment.
The plans show a new seafront walkway; new swimming pools/bars between the Castillo (castle) and the lighthouse, and a new Auditorium next to the lighthouse. The whole of the harbour area will look very different, and very impressive :D

already in the caleta memories group,but thanks anyway hev.i have been fascinated by some of the old photos,pre-barcello days.would have loved to have visited before the onset of all inclusive,when all the bars were buzzing as well. :)
