Just booked 2 weeks at caleta playa for september next year. ;D Its been 4 years since i last went HOME and have been missing corrie badly. :( Now annoying missus by singing summer holiday at every chance i get. Its driving her ballistic. :P
It might be in your interests to do a search on the C.P. Tim. I have stayed there a few times and suffered a couple of break ins plus petty theft. (Who is so desperate that they would nick towels?) Nice place otherwise and if you stop in the "old" section and get an even numbered apartment the view over the bay is wonderful. But I think you will know that !
My mate foley is at the C.P. in September. I'm sure he'll update you fully once he's back.
Cheers guys. :D Really looking forward to it. Stayed at No.15 Morispalda around the pool 5 times so far. Had a few breakins over the years but luckily nothing taken. How can you take what i never had?. Hope foley has a great time and doesnt drink all the dorada. :P

Enjoy it Timbo, we stayed in that apartment after you recommended it to us years ago, we had a lovely time but I never stayed there again after getting spooked by the break-in reports although there wasn't any trouble when we stayed. They are in a great location.
We stay in Atlantic Gardens now and book private apartments, we will be back there in October.
Seems most of the breakins were orchestrated by one of the maids who was caught along with others and imprisoned for several years. Most of the breakins can be avoided by simply using one of the cheap battery operated alarms and by insuring all windows and doors are locked. Same as at home really. Seems that many of the breakins occured because people seemed to think they could leave window open while out. Silly really. Obviously not all though as while i was there last time someone broke into the apartment next door while we were all asleep at night.
