Thanks for that link, fifi. The British authorities deserve praise for a wonderfully clear text.

Unfortunately, I thought I could apply for my pension via the UK but it seems I can't. I'm an autonomo now so I have to go through Spain even though I'll only have about 10c in pension from here. I can't imagine the hassle there's going to be, as I spent half my working life in France. It was going to be a big job for the Brits to sort out; I wonder whether the local civil servants are capable of dealing with a 3-country pension entitlement? I can guess what the answer's going to be. :(

It should be required reading for everone BEFORE they're allowed in to an estate agent.
