Title: Out of date passport - travel to Tenerife
Post by: Phaedra on July 05, 2013, 14:03:34 PM
My passport is now out of date.

Is it possible to travel to other Canary Islands without an up to date passport?
I have the green sheet and the padronamiento.

Are you planning on travelling with Binter Phaedra? If so their website says that your passport does not necessarily have to be in date for national flights. https://www.bintercanarias.com/eng/information/passenger-identification (https://www.bintercanarias.com/eng/information/passenger-identification)

It might be wise to email them and get confirmation in writing.

Hi Phaedra, I was just having another look at their website. It says you dont need it to be in date in one section (National) In the next section under EU it says this....
EU flights

Spanish

Current passport or ID card

I presume that your travel from Fuerteventura to Tenerife would be considered National????

Drop them an email to be on the safe side.

I would think so but I'll check with them later.
