Title: BREAK IN AND ROBBERY LA OLIVA
Post by: THE FRUS on June 14, 2013, 18:53:19 PM
 >:(  Very sad to report that there has been a break in this afternoon to a house of a local person in the village of La Oliva - they broke a window in broad daylight and made off.  Keep your valuables in a safe where possible and don't make it easy for them!!   >:(

I had a villa in CORRALEJO in 2011 and it got broke into.
Everything was in the safe apart from camera, and of course that went.
The company I had the villa with moved me to another villa but when I got back to the uk I wrote to them and to put it bluntly the reply I got was "hard luck"
Never used them since.

In fairness, it wasn't the villa company's fault that the villa was burgled, or indeed that you didn't lock your camera away.
