This being our 4th trip to Caleta we finally visited Nestors and have to say that everything we had read on the forum is true, good food, good service and above all great value for money, but after leaving a good revue on Tripadvisor we noticed that top of their list in Caleta is Restaurant 15 so we went there tonight and can't see how it could be rated above Nestors, don't get me wrong I enjoyed the chicken with Satay sauce but my partner said the local fish was tasteless and we went away still hungry something which wasn't possible at Nestors, just wonder what others think
We definitely prefer Nestors, although 15 is one of few local restaurants offering fresh veg which is usually well cooked.
Always disappointing to go there (15) for advertised dishes only to find they don't them - leaving only 14 choices, if you're lucky!
Nestor's has the added bonus of being next door to the top Wine Bar (Tripadvisor) in Fuerte :P :P :P
Missed Nestors this trip - we tried to get in without reservation and they would have obliged but kitchen was closing early for stocktake and remodelling (?). Then they were to be closed forthe next 2 nights and re-opened the day after we flew back. :(
Did visit Fado Rock (x2), El Patio (x2) and Il Fado but couldn't find where 15 have moved to. Disappointed to find El Camarote closed down too.
All the restaurants visited were quieter than same time last year. Hope to get back later in the year and "do" 15 and Nestors.
15 is in the centre where The Flower of Scotland and Hemmingways are.
I always forget the name of the centres ....sorry. :)

Your not the only one Fifi. I've been here years and still don't know the names of various CCs. I normally name them after whatever bar is in there 8)
We are regular visitors to Caleta and always make sure we have a couple of meals at Nestors. The quality of the meats, the tastes of the various sauces and the entertainment value of watching Nestor cook and chat with the customers make it a great night.
Have eaten at 15 a few times and really like the place & food, but Nestors is always our number 1.
Please stop making me feel extremely jealous and hungry as i've got to wait until Jan before I can come over again.

I agree Notthingham, 15 is nice but you can't beat Nestors. ;)
