Title: Certificado de eficiencia energetica (CEE)
Post by: bobbieball on May 07, 2013, 20:01:32 PM
The spanish goverment passed a new law on the 5th of april 2013 (decree 235/02013) which states that as of the 1st of june 2013 all properties for sale or rent must have a certificado de eficiencia energetica (cee) .
This is the spanish version of the uk energy performance certificate (epc).
No property can be sold or rented without it.
Agents will need the certificate as they are legally required to include the energy performance indicator in all commercial media.

Well you had better get your loft insulated, cavity wall insulation done and central heating boiler upgraded to an energy efficient one.   ;D

I got a quote for a wind turbine last year.  30,000 euros!!.  It would gave been a vertical one, 5 metres tall on a four metre mast, but apparently I could put it up without planning permission. Don't know what the neighbours would think.
