Canary Islands - 22.03.2013:
The authorities issued a warning last night for people to stay away from exposed spots and avoid walking or posing for photos on promenades and piers due to the risk of big waves. Swimmers have been warned to heed red flags on beaches and owners of boats have been asked to make sure they are securely tied up in harbour. Householders living near the sea are asked to take the standard flooding precautions.

There's been a 30 kph W wind today, so it would have been rough along the west coast. It was blowing the dry sand along Caleta beach today.
Hope it dumps a few million tonnes of sand on Esquinzo beach!
