Hi Cool Cat - Pajara is the provincial capital of the province of Pajara. Voted the seventh most beautiful village in the whole of Spain and The Islands it is very well appointed with two supermarkets and a number of bars and restaurants. It is in the center of the oldest part of The Canary Islands, 20 million years old. At 625 feet above sea level it is very temperate but only 10 minutes drive away from the National Monument fishing village of Ajuy. It is purely a Majoraro town with virtually no foreign influence but the Majoraro people must be the most friendly in the World so you will find yourself very welcome.
Please try the link again - it did work for me just now. Can someone else try it please and let us know that it is working OK
Thanks

PS; This is an apartment for people that wish to experience the "real" Fuerteventura - far from any of the resort areas, very peaceful and some say a unique part of the World. Recognised as such 3 years ago by UNESCO when they presented Fuerteventura with Biosphere status. You do need a car but there is 10mg broadband available after connection [landline is connected] so you can stream UK television!

Cool Cat. This is a fabulous apartment in an amazing place with a lovely municipal pool close by. There is a great restaurant and little cafe's/bars and a Padilla supermarket. As Paul say's this is the real Fuerteventura but your still close to Gran Tarajal and  Ajuy beaches.

By the way - it's not only available for long term rent BUT is for sale at the ridiculously low price of Euros 54,950.00. Fixed running costs are: Council Tax 220.00 p.a.; Basura 46.00 p.a.; Insurance 134.00 p.a. = approximately 8.00 Euros per week, about GB£6.95, the price of two pints of beer!

The only reason we're selling is we've bought a house to live in and continue to love the way of life here in the mountains "Far From The Madding Crowd"
