A new airline has begun operations in the Canaries today, stepping in to partly replace Islas Airways which folded recently due to crippling debts.
Canary Fly will operate between Gran Canaria-Lanzarote and Gran Canaria-Fuerteventura, with two daily return flights on each route using a 46-seater ATR turboprop. It expects to add other routes before long.

The website http://www.canaryfly.es/ (http://www.canaryfly.es/) is not at all encouraging - virtually nothing works! Seems like a bunch of amateurs to me.
