Title: BISS decoder
Post by: PHo on November 25, 2012, 12:58:07 PM
I am interested in investing in a skybox to use as a BISS decoder for BBC Radio 4 only on Intelsat 27.5W.  I understand there is a risk of the BBC upgrading the encryption but it seems worth a punt. If they do I can still fall back on the World Service on Nilesat
A few questions, though.
Will my 1m dish be OK for audio only from this satellite?
How easy is it to input BISS keys in the different Sky boxes - is one easier than another?  Do I need a card of any sort or just the box?
How often do the keys change?
