Title: New telescope - Corralejo walkway
Post by: admin on October 15, 2012, 13:37:35 PM
There's a new free (no coins needed) telescope on the Corralejo walkway - west of the harbour - next to the vertical flat slab.
Enjoy it before the vandals do.

I took a few pics with my phone (hence low quality) but they do show it's pretty good.
It's quite stiff - so it doesn't shake or move about easily:

Telescope.

Can't wait to give it a go when we are there in December.

I've just tried it at night hoping to look at the stars but it only has about 30 degree elevation.

Pity.

Had a peep through it last week, not bad at all for nowt. It`s situated on the promenade that goes up to the Bristol Playa, another good idea and ideal for a nice stroll after dinner.
