As you don't seem averse to a bit of Gaelic there is a new Irish bar/restaurant serving food during the day and evening, The Poitin Stil in Hoplaco and a new Scottish one, An Caisteal doing similar on Grandes Playa beside Champions. Both do mighty fine breakfasts and dinners and come recommended.
I take it you´re not "All Inclusive" then. We could do with a few more like you :-* :-*

Thanks for the heads-up on the An Caisteal, which has replaced the place of the same name (sort of): The Castle. They're struggling with their own success at the moment (everyone say "Ahh, poor things!" :'() so they haven't got the full range of food on offer. They say they should have everything sorted by the end of the year. Meanwhile, we had an absolutely gorgeous meal there last night. Try their chicken dish (can't remember the name they give it): succulent chicken breast with a stuffing of really top-quality black pudding, and a superb Whisky sauce. We're ordering haggis for our visit next week!
Had already tried the Poitin Stil - very nice Irish breakfasts they do.
This place may be short on really top quality restaurants for those really special dinners, but for sampling some of the "ordinary" meals people eat around the world, it's second to none. Just waiting for an Indonesian restaurant to open. Anyone know of one on the island?

Will definitely try both of the "Gaelic" suggestions. Wonder if An Caisteal does Square Sausage and Plain bread? (It's a Scottish thing as wife is from that neck of the woods)
We did try the Castle a few years ago and I have to say it was appalling both in quality and cost (€20 for 2 small breakfasts), so never went back there.
As Peggy said we'll be busy bees!

They certainly do square sausage. My husband had bread with his scotch pie, and it was plain with (not) butter on it. He's half Scots but I'm just a plain Sassenach so frankly, I don't have the foggiest. :)

aye - not just square sausage but tattie scones and Tablet - they even had a cloutie dumpling on their opening night - with more promised..
And the Poitin Stil in Hoplaco doing excellent "Full Irish" breakfast - keeps you going all day, and then they also do nice homecooked meals in the evenings...
Not sure I've ever had a Tattie Scone is, but remember Mum in Law's tablet! Do they do white pudding? Looking forward to it anyway.
