Anyone else had a problem I know they did this last year or the year before when there was a change over
Also we never receive a bill so anyone any idea how do you get on to the online sytem to check your bills without one
Regards
Can't help with your double billing problem ( VERY high!!) but may be able to help with registering on line.
It is not easy. And to begin with you are going to need the number of your last bill!! You don't have that obviously. Would suggest then that you go to the Endesa office in Puerto del Rosario with your contract and any other ID you may need, and ask them for the invoice number of your last bill. Then at least you can start the on line procedure, without it you can't as it is an obligatory "field" to complete on the on line form.
Once you are registered on line, you will be able to see previous bills which you can print off.
Here's a link to the on line form to have a look at so you will get an idea of what you have to complete

We've had 2 payments go out of the bank in September, but one didn't go out in August.
We live here and the payments that have been taken have been for 62.81 and 49.89.
They must have had a "blip" in August because i too did not have a payment taken out of the bank during August. Seems it was nationwide as I was reading another forum yesterday where many people were saying the same thing.
Well thats not too bad now I know one was Aug and one Sept but I would like to be able to see when they are Estimated and when they are real I dont think I have seen more than 1 or 2 bills in 10 years!
I am coming out next Sat so will go to the Endesa office in Rosario but I have never had a contract so will a copy of the DD from the bank along with other ID do? or I may be able to find one of the old bills.
Do you still have to take a ticket and wait and do they speak English or should I have it all written on a sheet and just hand it over as my Spanish is not good.
Regards
Sarah
Don't know if you have sorted this out yet, but I was talking to someone a few days ago who had a similar problem. They went to the Endesa office in Rosario with all the usual ID stuff plus a copy of the DD print out from the bank. Seems there is still a ticket system in the office and a big queue, but there is someone called Adolf who speaks perfect English, so best to wait until he becomes available.
So, if you go to the offices do they actually do anything to help?
If you are successful in registering on line, can you enter correct meter readings?
would anyone pick up on this and amend bills?
We do not live in our house. Nor does anyone else. Its it used 5-6 times a year for 2/3 week periods. We do have a pool in which the pump comes on twice a day. The pool is heated but only when someone is there in the cooler periods.
Our electricity bills with Endesa runs as follows:
May 12 200,21
July 12 288,66
Sept 12 343,79
Nov 12 501,91
I have tried to register with Endesa online. You need your bill number. We do not receive bills - just receipts on line from our bank.
Would a date of last bill suffice?
Each time I try to register on line - I get an email advising the data does not tally.
Really bored with it all now and would happily pay someone to assist on our next jaunt out.
Ideas anyone, its like pulling teeth and I am sure they are laughing very loud at me!! -- losing the will to live.
The May payment looks the only one near what it should be for the occupation levels you are talking about. November would indicate you'd had a two month rave with fifty odd revellers. Scarey figures.
Hi HH
I would think with bills like that your pool heater must be on, mine is on nearly full time but I get my bills monthly strange you get yours every two months. My bills were quite high a few years ago (didnt have a pool heater then) got someone out to check it and I was told it was the pool pump I have been told you have to run them 12 hrs a day but someone else told me a few hours a day would do and if you are not there I would get who ever looks after your pool to change it to 2 hours then change it to 12 when they know you are coming out.

Hi there,
Endesa had a price increase some time ago, but it has taken them quite a few months to get it authorised by the government and so they have backdated the charge. You should have seen a bulotin in with the bill explaining this (in Spanish)...it may have something to do with that, but of course I am just guessing really as it depends on what you are used to paying. You can ask them to come and check the meter and you should try and monitor usage. You can get your bills on line, but you will need someone who understands Spanish to set it up for you. Once done it's quite easy to access I believe.
We've just had a call from our property manager who looks after our place when we aren't there to say our electric has been disconnected. We're upto date with all payments as we pay by direct debit and have checked online to make sure we've not missed any payments but they've cut us off !! We have a place on the golf course and we receive paper bills through our post box for someone up the road from ours who has the same number on their gate. The properties on the golf have the old plot number and then a new number and we're registered under the plot number with endesa. I think they may have cut us off instead of someone else!! I just hope we can get back on before we arrive on Friday afternoon as we've got our 6 week old grandson coming out too.
No bills again this August 2013. They must take a little holiday.
Anna as far as we understand the electric has gone back to every 2 months as from April/May this year
Gave up trying to register online after the process would not accept any of my ID.
A very frustrating 30mins.

I am having the same problem, tried NIE and Passport No.s but no joy.
Any suggestions? :(
I am in fact registered with them for on-line bills, have been for over a year now. But I do remember it being a VERY frustrating experience with not a single ID number being accepted. If I remember well, I then checked an old bill and discovered my NIE number on the bill was printed in a slightly different format to that shown on my NIE certificate. I imputted that on the online reg and then it worked. Can't guarantee it, but it did work for me ::) Of course you may not have an old bill, so may not be the solution.
I don't have the actual bill yet so the only details I have are from the bank statement. The only problem I am having is with ID No.
I will just have to wait until we are back over and have a look at the paper bill.
Thanks anyway. :)
