So, it has been since Christmas and New Year since we were in Fuerte and now it is only 7 weeks on Thursday. And this time we are staying for 3 1/2 weeks which is going to be amazing - and boy do we need it!!!

We flew back on Monday after 2 and half weeks out at our place and are back again for Xmas and New Year from 21st Dec til 4th Jan. Can't wait.

It's under/part of caleta garden apartments on the main street . Nestors sign is orange and there is also atriangular box sign. The no. is 648895811. well worth finding, food excellent. Enjoy.

paddster,you,ve got to try nestors,its fantastic.i suggest you try the argentinian mixed grill.its got 3 different steaks on it,plus chicken and pork,and argentinian sausage.the argentinian sausage is delicious.it comes with cauliflower cheese,chips and salad.if you can finish it you,re a better man than me.you can always doggy bag it like we did.next time we go i,m getting the mixed grill and the wife is getting a light meal and we will split it between us.try it mate,you wont be disappointed.

In 2009 we stayed in December, then in 2010 it was last week Nov ( the storm ) then last year 2011 it was October and it was gorgeous..
Can't wait to be honest, feels like too long since we were last over ;)

Den,i didn't no,i completely forgot about it until someone from work who was over on the same flight etc mentioned it to me when we went down to the beach on the Fri before we came home,he did say it was awesome though so memory willing we will definitely be trying it next year when we're over for 3 weeks,i'll make a note of it on my phone,i just completely forgot mate ? Coming out 30 Jan then back 4th May maybe booking for Sept soon ;D Is Nestors really that good, have walked passed it to have a look, but because I'm a smoking leper have never been in :'( I do luv el patio :P but can't eat the lamb on my own lol!
welcome to the forum doc.you will get addicted to the forum in the same way you get addicted to fuerte.in answer to your question,in my opinion nestors is that good.the food is fantastic and nestor is a real character.having said that,its all about opinions.all you can do is give it a try.as you already know caleta is not short of great restaurants,and nestors is up there with the best.

What can I say Dan you brought an even bigger smile to our faces than usual in El Cotillo. You made Fuerte 2011 complete for us xx. I'm gutted about this year though cos for the first time in four years Ill have extra help with me and I was hoping at last to enjoy the delights of Imagine! And it closed last night. Sad about that looks like RIB will have to put up with me then lol x god help them lol
Hi you big and quality eaters when you go to nesters ask if he has the giant prawns on the menu i have the fillet steak but the Doris goes crazy over them more like mini lobsters and paddy dont have to many beers before you go as you will not manage it all ;D
Just returned from a 2 week stay in mexico getting a bit of a tan,so just another 8 weeks to a top up and supping at the Dog besides pigging myself at Nestors. :) :)

Well our holidays have been and gone and what another amazing trip. Met some lovely people and enjoyed the surf, the sun and once again had a wee bit too much to drink(Imagine closure night and McCarthys springs to mind) - hick!
