It was first talked about a couple of years ago.

It's now going out to tender, and will be based at the Windmill Museum in Antigua.

I've got some "out of date" cheese in my fridge - do you think they'd be interested?

From the money they get from pensioners prescriptions and visitors health charges if they cant use their E111 card.

it´s not a matter of where the money´s coming from, but where´s it going to go. Expect a few more of these on the roads soon. Already seen one on the Horizonte - Antigua road.

A museum to Canarian cheese will be well received by some. You can't beat a nice slice of Mojero or Manchego. Has been gong cheap at Lidl's here in the UK recently.

Is there still a goat farm that is open to the public in the north of the island? We visited one some years ago and they did cheese making demos and tasting. At the time we went they had a poorly baby camel thay were nursing as well. Can't for the life of me remember where it was though.

It was probably Pepy's farm near Betancuria. Yes, still open.

If you look at the image gallery thumbnails to the right of the website page (left click to enlarge) the camel has grown up a bit :-)
