The Cabildo of Fuerteventura has awarded
EUR 17,027.75, as part of Tourism Competitiveness Plan 'Canary Islands, a volcanic experience II' for a Bird watching trail in Cofete.

The work will begin in the coming weeks and should be finished in two months.
In order to facilitate the sighting of the many species of birds in the area and observe the amplitude of Jandia Natural Park, the new observatory will be equipped with binoculars and a public multilingual interpretive panel which will give visitors an understanding of the landscape.
