Emergency services were called to attend to two people on Burro beach in Corralejo. Swimmers in the area had taken two semi unconscious people out of the sea shortly after 4pm.
The Emergency Department assessed and attended to those affected, moving them first to the Health Center Corralejo. After conducting a more thorough analysis, it was decided to transfer the man to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura.
Meanwhile, the local police worked with the emergency services and instructed the relevant proceedings.
