Built for surfers and divers alike, this Spanish colonial-style hotel lies just 50 metres off Fuerteventura's Altantic shoreline and the famous Spew Pits surf spot.

Has this not turned into a gay hotel? Some recent posts on the forum.
If it hadn't before you posted, it will now, Dan.
I have great memories of this hotel when it was run by the locals. It was the place I stayed at when I first discovered El Cotillo. The rooms were clean, quiet and inexpensive.
They spoke Spanish and I spoke Italian and frankly, we really never quite understood each other. The gentleman who ran the place late at night kept thinking I was interested in a lady of the evening, but I couldn't understand what he was talking about until the last evening I stayed there. Must have sold to a popular surfer's group. The price went up and there were more naturist options available to the north.
