hi does anyone on here live in a property rented through norte sur..
we are paying what seems like the electricity for the whole street, we can not get to see our bills, and have not any idea what our account number is to register online...
endesa now say they dont provide any english speaking staff and i dont know enough spanish to sort this out... my last bill was 170 euros and have since cancelled my DD, hoping this would make endesa get in touch with me.. but that was 3 months ago...
i really feel there is a fiddle going on with endesa and norte sur but its really difficult to sort this..
does anyone have any advice please

If you need a translator, I can recomend one, please pm me as I do not want to post her details on line without her permoission. She is German living in Rosario and has fluent English & Spanish, helped me out last year with a report of a breakin and robbery to the police.

You may be able to contact them through the website.
Is the direct debit going to Endesa or Norte Sur? Maybe the direct debit receipt has an account no. on it.
You could ask your bank for the payment slips they provide (at least mine does) and there are some details on that which can help you find your electricity account details.
hi we have now managed to speak to endesa and to be fair we have not got anywhere, they are really not interested in talking to us without an account number. They did ask for the number that shows up on the bank details and when i told the chap he said that is one of those special numbers! (I thought very special) but with out the account number they cant changed the address to mine or send me the bills.
So we went back to landlord Norte Sur and demanded we have the bills as the amount of money they are asking to take from out account its out of hand now.
So now we wait, but i have since heard of several people renting though the Norte Sur having the same problem.
I have heard that landlords can have the electricity set at a higher rate, does anyone know if this is true?
This is going to sound bizarre but here goes.
I've just received a flyer from ScottishPower (in association with Iberdrola) which says the following:

Awau 'n bile yer heid!
You may consider yourself barred from any website beginning with www.
I've had one of those Scottish Power leaflets through the post as well!
I have heard they are excellent and a lot cheaper, but I can't change to them, I have tried, as you a copy of your last bill... But if I ever get that far I will be changing!
I have now been with Iberdrola for just over a year and I have to say that I haven´t noticed that much difference with their charges (I was with Endesa for 5 years previously).
However if you want to do the change it´s straight forward and Iberdrola take care of all the paperwork.
