Title: Suggestion for Admin
Post by: SurfJames on June 30, 2012, 09:10:50 AM
Hi......Congratulations on this new format.  :)

I note there are a lot of new members joining up.

Could I suggest that you have a section for new members to introduce themselves. This would then provide an opportunity for us to also welcome them.

Is there not a 'spell-check' function available, Admin?

Doesn't your browser offer this?

Not too sure actually mate, I don't even know where I would look in IE for a spell-checker  :-\ . I know other internet fora that I've frequented in the past had a spell-check function. Not that I necessarily need it but anyone can make a mistake and being a bit of a 'stickler' for spelling / grammar, I do like to make sure just to be on the safe side.  ;D

I'm pretty sure I did enable spell check on the forum. I get lost with all the options.
In any case I think it'll depend upon your browser whether it works or not.

Personally I could do without the spell check - I have trouble entering unusual words like 'bridlife' - it kept changing it to 'bridle'.

Can't seem to find it myself. Oh well, like you say, most probably a browser issue.

Think the new forum looks really polished anyway and the transition from the old one to this one has been excellent, well done Admin  ;). Now, if only I could stop clicking 'Thank You' instead of 'Quote'  ;D
