If you booked with EJ you will have a reservation number. If you log in with it you can reserve seats, book speedy boarding and alter your luggage requirements. You can`t change names though, not without ringing them.

Attached is the boarding information from Easyjet's website.
If you're reason for wanting to change to speedy boarding is to get one of the 'longer legroom' seats, there is no guarantee that you'll get them even though you've booked speedy boarding.
All speedy boarding does is allow you to be in the Group 1 queue (below) to board the plane.
If you want the long legroom seats then you will have to ensure that you watch the flight departure details and are at the front of this queue.
I've been on a few Easyjet flights where passengers have not realise this, spent the extra £12 each or whatever it is, ended up in a 'normal' seat and then had arguments with the cabin crew as a result.
We never book speedy boarding: as long as you watch the flight departure details and end up towards the front of the Group 2 queue you should have a choice of about two thirds of the plane's seats when you board.

Boarding
.
BoardingeasyJet operates a strict priority boarding system and you will be boarded in the following order:

•Group 1: Passengers who have purchased Speedy Boarding
•Group SA: Passengers requiring special assistance and families (maximum 2 adults) where at least one child is aged 5 years or under.
•Group 2: All other passengers

Please note that certain airports are subject to different check-in desk and gate closure times. Consult your flight confirmation for specific details.

easyJet will be trialing allocated seating on selected flights. If your flight is part of the trial you will be contacted via email. If not you can choose where to sit when you board the aircraft. With Speedy Boarding you get the best choice of seats but we can't allow you to reserve seats for fellow travellers who haven't paid for this service – we want all our passengers to have the freedom to choose where they sit.

We appreciate that there are some passengers who require assistance. After prior arrangement with our check-in and gate staff we will do our best to assist wherever possible by providing more time for such passengers outside of the main boarding groups.

If you have specific requirements, please do let us know by pre-booking them for the relevant booking confirmation in My easyJet.com at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure time of your flight so that appropriate equipment and resources to be organised at the airport.

Seating exceptions

Because safety is our main priority at easyJet, there are some seats that are not suitable for all passengers.

These are marked with grey headrests as opposed to orange ones and are located at the front row of the aircraft, on the wing exits, and on the last row.

These seats are only suitable for use by able-bodied adults as you may be required to assist the crew in the highly unlikely event of an emergency. Passengers may only sit in one of these restricted seats at the discretion of our cabin staff.

Please assist us to board the aircraft as quickly as possible, and therefore depart on time, by not sitting in one of these seats if you do not meet the above criteria, or you are travelling with infants or children.

Denied Boarding

We make every effort to provide seats for people who have a confirmed booking. Rarely, a seat may not be available at check-in on a flight which operates for which a passenger has a confirmed reservation and in these circumstances our denied boarding rules will apply.

Details of our denied boarding rules are available on request at check-in counters.

Is it not the case of first out the door onto the bus and last off, where they use buses to ferry you out to the plane ;D ;D

dee-dee

We haven`t had to get a bus to the plane for ages  ::) Where you flying from?  :P

Edinburgh. Bus to a holding area. due to a plane being held up in a stand so the plane we had to get, had to park up. To be fair they did run a separate bus so they did get up the stairs first.

You need to get to a modern airport  :P

To be fair Easyjet are trying hard to get the `Speedy boarding` right. When you get bussed out to the aircraft, although you board via all doors, the speedy boarders are asked to go to the front and they only discharge via this front door so they are out and up the stairs first. Works most of the time  ;D
