Have a look at this site - https://www.clinicascenmed.com/our-clinics-fuerteventura/

They also do Antigen and PCR tests in a facility in the airport.

Hi Steve...Have you heard anything about this being done in Corralejo in the future, save having to go back to the airport?
Just seen it is showing in Corralejo on the link,so we don`t need to go to the airport?

Hi Dee

As far as I know the newest clinica on the roundabout opposite Nico`s bar in Correlejo does them. I`m told at reasonable cost as well as the UK are accepting them on the return..We`ve said to hell with it and we have got silly money flights in early July from Leeds (£58 each way) with Jet2 and fixed up accomodation and we`ll be using them for the test..Can`t be any worse than the awful Brisamar..Avoid them..Hope youre all well and enjoy your jolly..

Hi Paully,

Yes all good here thanks, just keeping everything crossed ,we are booked for September, which is last years carried over,we so need to go....we are with Jet2 also...do you think they (meaning Jet2)... will put provisions in place for the tests ,if the flights get going again?
We have friends coming over too,but they are thinking of canceling as  cant be arsed with worrying about the tests  ::)
I get tested three times a week for work so I`m well used to it unfortunately...any thoughts?
Thanks...Dee  ;D

I know what you mean Dee..We`ve just said sod it we`ll put up with the number two to get away..2019 was the last `away game for us`..we`re double jabbed and not getting any younger so we are off..A couple of days in El Cotillo will put a lot of this behind us  ;D

Jet2 are very astute and very customer orientated. Re the tests assistance, they just don`t trust Boris and his dodgy Sage advisors in order to commit but I have no doubt they will have a deal lined up to assist their customers.

Go for it Dee, you know you want to ;D ;D

Hi Dee, Jet2 have been great with us through this pandemic. I pass leeds/bfd most days and a testing centre has opened about 400 yards from the terminal. Guessing most airports will have the same facility
As you know we arrive and leave before you, at the moment we are planning on having our return test at clinimed by Nicos belgium beer bar. You are more than welcome to come up with us to suss it out and join us for lunch at Clarkies, whilst we wait for the results which take about an hour. Being a Yorkshireman you'll be paying of course.

Hi Dee..This is what I can find so far. Jet2 seem to be on with it and getting discounts for their customers but weeding out the cowboys and incompetents. Seems like nearer the restart dates they`ll put the details on line. Good to know I`d be suprised if they didnt match Tui prices.

Dee,  I think it is 8 days in total. The Government site says you count the first day as day 0. So day 7 is in fact day 8.
You can go out on day 9. Best triple check as £2,000 fine is eye watering! :o

Thanks for that...yes I know they have been checking up on people ....We are flying with Jet2 and they will only fly to green countries so I should not have to worry too much...unless we actually do get there and it goes amber while we are there...that would be just our luck  ::)

Re the `checking up `on people having returned..AFAIK they contact you by phone, mobile usually. Therefore how do they know where you are?..you could be anywhere..As long as you give the right answers, I would imagine that woul satisfy the call centre operator from whateverpart of the Far East is doing it the cheapest that week..

Or is the system much more sophisticated?  ;D
