In the centre of town, right opposite the kiddy play park and surfer hostel.

Very much in the local area, this is the second year we have eaten there.
Food seems to be cooked to order, and very good it is,too. Pasta Bolognese well prepared and you can taste the ingredients, rather than the whole mix. Very good. Turkey in cream sauce equally good.
Its a small place, music some nights. Not very sophisticated, but great food and atmosphere. Our 2 plates, one large 1 small beer less than 18 euro. They deserve to make more money than that.
Give them a try. It doesn't look much, but give it a try, you will love the food.

We've never eaten here, but it's our favourite first stop for a drink on our way into the harbour area to eat.  The atmosphere is uber cool, very friendly & welcoming.  Good wifi, free popcorn with drinks.  No Sky sports :P
Give it a try

Great place to have a drink and watch the world go by.   Was tempted a few times to go over and play in the kids park.   Friendly staff and great sitting out on pavement on a warm evening.
Not tried the food but what I saw served looked good.

Ate there a couple of times last year. The fondue was a bit of a rip off but everything else was good.
I see they've stuck some flags to the ceiling now. Should stop flakes of paint falling on your meal...

Sad to report, Ferrets is now closed for good.

That is a shame always usually busy and what food we had was good and reasonably priced.
