We bought a property end of April this year which is for personal use only, in the short term we will use it for about 100 to 130 days a year.
To do so meant opening a bank account where we have just been hit with some non resident charges, so this has raised questions about the pros and cons of residency or not. In researching that I came across an old thread on Non Resident Tax dating back to 2013 / 2014 ( http://www.fuerteventura-forum.com/index.php?topic=16837.msg348539#msg348539 ) and wonder what the latest information on this is?

I have had a property on the island for 12 years and we pay this tax every year you can now do it online it is due anytime now for 2015 . hoping to do it online myself this year. I'm f you bought in April this year you won't have to bother until 2017
