A few months ago people were saying that when Murdoch moved the satellites we would lose Sky here on the Islands.
Did it happen?

(Smilies don't seem to be working?)

Basically, all the terrestial channels, BBC, ITV etc have gone to narrower UK beams so you need a monster dish, 4.5 to 5m, for those.
Most 'Sky' channels are still available with a 1.2m dish, subscription permitting. BT Sport HD have moved to a UK only beam but the SD versions are still, as yet, available.

If you look at the link below and check the 'Europe' beam list, it will tell you what is available.

There may be the odd exception as final tweaks may be made by the satellite operators/Sky.  :D

Looking forward to the day I tick the "One way only" box when booking flights to Fuerte. [:)]

Thanks for the update Deso.
We cancelled our Sky TV & UKTV. Now have ZKTV & an Android Box. The box is proving a bit of a challenge! Not very techie so it's taking a while. I think woe 10 is far more experienced in this field!

Is our lack of Smilies anything to do with Windows 10???

May be a JAVA issue?  Have a look at the link below. If you are using the 'Edge'browser it does not support Java.
